My project supervisor recently told me: “Your critical view, positivity and can-do attitude are an asset to any team.” I see myself as social, active and creative, both in my professional and personal life.
Besides my sporty hobbies, such as swimming, trail running and cycling, I also really enjoy being creative. For example, I play a lot of guitar, like working on my bikes and make my own (bike) bags.
The values freedom, honesty and trust are very important to me. I really value the freedom to travel, where I get to meet new people and learn to trust them. I also think it is important to have freedom as a designer and to have the space to explore new idea directions and innovations. At the same time, I believe it is important to be realistic and trust the qualities and knowledge of my colleagues and to work together as a team to turn these ideas in to reality.

During my graduation internship at andc, an agency for behavioral change and product development, I worked on a solution to spread the cycling congestion in cities. I completed this project with a final grade of a 9.0 (according to the Dutch grading system)

During my 4-month internship in Ghana I started a community project, where I designed and started a small sports center together with the local community.

In a team of industrial designers, mechanical engineers and electrical technicians, I worked on preparing the circular award-winning Roetz Life bike for production.
